In addition to private lessons, students also have occasional opportunities to participate in flute choir. Flute choir provides and opportunity to gain ensemble experience and meet some other musical friends. Here is the information for this winter’s flute choir concert:

Christmas Concert 2011!!

I’m very excited to have so many of my students participate in our Christimas concert this year! Here is the information you need for the event:

Music: Please pick up a packet from me during your lesson. Younger students should play as much as they are able, older students can try the whole thing. Please play as much or as little as you are comfortable. We will perform as a flute choir, so there will other students playing the same part as you will be.

Dress Rehearsal: Thursday, December 15th 7:30pm at the Freilich Home.
This rehearsal will take approximately one hour. Please bring a folding music stand if you have one.

Concert: Monday, December 19th 6:30pm at Gwynedd Estates Retirement Home
Gwynedd Estates is located at 301 Norristown Rd, Ambler PA. This is the corner of Norristown Rd. and Tennis Ave. Tell the parking guard you are here for a concert in the lobby.

*Please arrive by 6:00pm. This will give us time to tune and test a few things.*

We will play an informal concert in the lobby of the building. Family and friends are welcome. The concert will be 30-35 minutes in length.

Please bring: your flute, you music, and a folding music stand.
Please wear: anything nice. Skirts, dresses, nice pants… no jeans, very short skirts etc…. This is community for older people. Please use your judgement.
